| | Kelimutu is a volcano, close to the town of Moni in central Flores Island of Indonesia containing three summit crater lakes of varying colors. Tiwu Ata Mbupu (Lake of Old People) is usually blue and is the westernmost of the three lakes. The other two lakes, Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai (Lake of Young Men and Maidens) and Tiwu Ata Polo (Bewitched or Enchanted Lake) are separated by a shared crater wall and are typically green or red in color, respectively. The lake colors do vary on a periodic basis. Subaqueous fumaroles are the probable cause of active upwelling that occurs at the two eastern lakes.[1]
The lake have been a source of minor phreatic eruptions in historical time. The summit of the compound 1639-m-high Kelimutu volcano is elongated two km in a WNW-ESE direction; the older cones of Kelido and Kelibara are located respectively three km to the north and two km to the south.
The scenic lakes are a popular tourist destination.

A short walk through a foggy bamboo forest brings us to the site of Old Wogo where the ancestral megaliths (basically piles of large rock shards) of the current village still reside, one for each family group. For the Ngada, the family megalith provides an unmoving reference point from which to draw a sense of identity and belonging even if one moves away to a distant city.
Selamet.
Habis dinner, rombongan bersiap-siap untuk mandi air panas...brrggghh....dingin banget udaranya...tapi tetep walaupun dingin temen-temen pada berendem air panas juga tuh...
Pagi harinya cuaca sangat cerah, sambil disuguhi secangkir kopi dan ngobrol ngalor ngidil sama Mas Budi yang lagi nyantap sate kelinci, gue sempet ngambil foto Gn Selamet yang lagi aktif...alias mengepul diudara... |

"Davey, mo mampir liat rusa gak??, trus dia jawab mau. Jadi mampirlah kita tempat penangkaran rusa milik PERHUTANI di Cariu sebelum Cianjur.
referensi: http://kompas.com/kompas-cetak/0503/10/metro/1611870.htm
Wah...senangnya dia...hampir gak mo diajak pulang.
